This is the house across the street from mine. The new owner, from New Orleans, had just spent 8 months (and a lot of money) totally renovating it to use as her retirement home.
The large pile of debris in the back of the yard at left did not come from this house. As the storm surge retreated, it mixed the remnants of many buildings and deposited it everywhere.
